Over a year ago, I began a venture after watching the movie
Courageous. It was a slap in the face and I started a blog on my journey to
make changes in my life for the benefit of my family and to create a legacy
that God would be proud of. It has started with the formation of an
accountability group with two great friends and Godly loving men as we started
with the reading of Resolution for Men. I am not going to lie; it was a
struggle to get this book done. We held each other accountable for missed times
but we were and still are there for each other. We have all seen the birth of
new children in our families but our families have grown closer together with
the goal of leaving a legacy that God would be proud of. We have since moved on
to another book called the Sacred Marriage. In order to be the spiritual leader
in our home for our children, we must demonstrate the loving marriage that they
should follow. Sacred Marriage is a book that I hope will guide me to not only
be an example for what kind of marriage my children should want. As we proceed
through the book, I am going to highlight a couple things that caught my
attention in each chapter and how it personally affects me. I ask you to join
in the posts as I added and update the blog. Thank you for the opportunity to
share my own thoughts through my answering of some unique questions as I walk
this journey.
