Resolution for Men - Chapter Four

“Resolve to be a Man of Responsibility”:

As a man we must be responsible for what happens in our homes. We cannot place the blame on someone else. We must assume responsibility and takes steps to change inadequate situations in our homes. As a man of responsibility, we must take ownership as the spiritual leader in our homes. It is our wives rule to be a guide and a support channel for what we want to do spiritually for our family. Our wives do not need to be the one to take on our role as the leader of the home. That is our job and we MUST take the wheel and guide our family.

Scripture: “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13)

How did I accomplish this? 

I have spoken to my family about my NEED to be responsible for my family. When it comes to doing things in the family, it is important that I am the one that guides our family in the right direction. It does not mean that I am ruling my house with an iron fist because that is not the case. It means that I will not allow our activities to stray away from God's desires for our family. That to me is what a Man of Responsibility is all about!
