Chapter Five “Resolve to Lead Your Family”:
We are the leaders of our
family. If there is a failure in our family it is because we have allowed it to
happen. It is time for men to not only to lead our family but to lead them as
God would want us to lead them. “FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION”. When we fail our
families, we also fail God! And God does not want us to fail.
Scripture: “Have
I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed,
for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
Regardless of what or how we feel, we MUST take the reigns and lead our family spiritually. We must teach our children the word of God each and every day. We must express to them that they must trust in God and live by his word. We MUST be that spiritual crutch for our wives that they very much desire. As I said above, failure is not an option because if we fail to provide the spiritual guidance that our family needs, they will not understand the true word of God.
